Fun week so far. I encountered a weird bug with useSession hook in react-auth and now I try to implement Lemon Squeezy in my new app. Love it! :)
I enjoy horology and all the reseach aspects of collecting vintage watches. And when time allows, I'm a into hiking or cycling.
What's nice about TailwindCSS is that you can inspect a site like Scribbles and borrow a few things you like :-)
I don't do TDD but once a week I do try to pause adding new code. That day the goal is to review, organize and fix all the shortcuts I took the past week. It is not a TDD replacement but I do think it works well if you're a single dev.

Happy birthday to me. After a few years of no new purchases, I decided to add a new watch to my collection. It is a model from April of 74 and I'm super excited for it to join my collection. Of course, I will be adding it to Watch Case soon.
Finally back to the code I love.
The thing about being a contractor is that you work on projects others assigned to you with very little room to improvise. A few weeks ago I started a new project that is entirely mine and it is so refreshing to be able to pick my favorite framework, database and to make choices about the entire stack. It is not only an effective way to write code but also to refresh my knowledge about the current JS landscape :) Btw... Webflow sucks.
A new project on the horizon.
This is my Simson S51, model B. It was purchased by my dad in East Germany in 1985. He brought it to Poland and it was in my family until I was 20 years old. A few years later and my dad decided to give this bike to my younger cousin so he can learn how to drive. And....then the story has a twist. It was stolen, completely destroyed and once the police found it, it was a wreck. I will be working on it this summer. Still looking for someone who rebuilds engines....
Hello world, hello Scribbles.
Hello world.... I'm on Scribbles now.
