September is coming
Uhh... it looks like September will be shamelessly good with a bit of code written by good friends :) So exciting!

August is almost over. As much as I love the summer and it is super fun to visit family and friends, I'm slowly getting ready to head back home. I miss my routine and it would be nice to have 5-6h of uninterrupted work time.
The more I read about how Google AdSense works, the more I'm realizing that all those small websites with flashy popups and annoying banners are just a plankton providing profiling for all of the big players. You do the dirty work and it's the high traffic websites who are then benefiting for well rounded visitor profiles. Tracking is evil and it pollutes the web with no real benefits for small publications.
This week I'm deep in the past. O.S.T.R- Tylko dla dorosłych.
I have lots of wonderful people around me who help me achieve my goals. I hope they know Im grateful and appreciate them a lot.
One more move and I might have a few solid days of work ahead of me.
Ive spent the last few weeks writing code in Zed. It is nice. There are still a few rough edges... but I like it quite a lot so far.
We are in the middle of a move, some short travels and a home renovations. As much as I'm trying to make progress on projects that are important to me, there is an obvious pause on it. I hope to resume everything sometime in July and finally ship an app Im super excited about.
Here is a quick preview of a simple image hotspot functionality I'm building. I'm hoping it will allow you to describe the project you're working on. The first few seconds show the editing view you will have... and then the video show the tooltip view which is what your visitors will see.
I started building my new product at the beginning of April. I got lots of the building blocks ready but it still needs some work. While it is taking a bit longer than Ive expected, Im super hyped about how it is looking so far.
Fun week so far. I encountered a weird bug with useSession hook in react-auth and now I try to implement Lemon Squeezy in my new app. Love it! :)
What's nice about TailwindCSS is that you can inspect a site like Scribbles and borrow a few things you like :-)
I don't do TDD but once a week I do try to pause adding new code. That day the goal is to review, organize and fix all the shortcuts I took the past week. It is not a TDD replacement but I do think it works well if you're a single dev.
